Do I have to take My Vehicle to one of the Insurance

No.  You own the vehicle, you choose the shop.  Be leery of the insurance company’s list of “preferred shops”.  Some insurers only recommend shops that offer discounts to the insurance company for sending the customer there.

Additionally, the insurance company is not allowed to discriminate against you if you choose to take your vehicle to the shop of your choice. They may try to “steer” you to their preferred shops by telling you they can’t guarantee the repairs of our shop.  No matter what the insurance company says, we offer a Lifetime Warranty  on every repair.  Another unethical tactic they like to try is telling you that you might be financially responsible for any extra work we do on your vehicle.  However, our company will never charge you extra to repair your vehicle.  We work for the vehicle owner, not the insurance company.

Steering is illegal and you should report any company that tries to force you to a particular shop.

We will make all the arrangements for a rental car to be at our shop when you drop your vehicle off for repairs (or as soon as possible if the vehicle is not driveable).  If you were not at fault you typically are entitled to a rental car.  If you were at fault, you are only entitled to a rental car if you have rental coverage on your policy.

How soon can I wash my car?

Recommendations & Precautions in the First 30 Days:

    • Avoid using a commercial car wash. Stiff brushes or sponges could mar the finish and damage the surface.
    • Do not "dry wipe" your vehicle. Dry wiping can scratch the finish.
    • Avoid parking under trees and utility lines, which are likely to attract birds.   Also, tree sap can mar or spot a freshly painted surface.
